Welcome to the Camden Fringe website.

The dates for the 2009 Camden Fringe are the 3rd - 30th of August 2009. We are currently looking for acts to perform. For more information please download the Performers Pack and Application Form.

The third Camden Fringe took place between Monday 28th July and Sunday 24th of August 2008. There were 301 performances across 3 venues over those 4 weeks, and acts included devised theatre, modernised Greek classics, improvisation, story-telling, cabaret, musicals and, of course, a plethora of sketch, character and stand-up comedy.

Fact fans may be interested to hear that overall ticket sales were up 88% on the previous year, and the average audience per show was up by 12%.

Here is what the press said:

"A David has emerged to challenge the Edinburgh Goliath: the Camden Fringe" The Guardian

"So much to see, such spirit and giddy, glorious, fringetastic new work packed into the programme" Londonist

"Pure uncensored creativity" What's On Stage

"An eclectic line up of talent and adventurous work... there is a growing buzz about the Camden Fringe which look set to continue" First Act
