Chris Cox: He Can't Read Minds

Chris Cox: He Can't Read Minds

Chris Cox: He Can't Read Minds

"…masterful skill and technique - MUST SEE" - The Stage
BBC Radio 1's resident magician takes magic into the new world of technology. His props are the stuff of the 21st century - no magic wand, no fez - but he does have big feet. This is a completely unique and new form of mind reading, even though he says he can't read minds! A fully interactive - and funny - multi-media theatrical experience; it's also very funny - encompassing mind reading, magic, psychology and comedy.
"A fun show… I guarantee Chris' final trick will leave you awe struck and speechless" - Three Weeks magazine
Expect to see Chris prove that he can't read minds, through giving the impression that he can read minds. Enter his own Big Brother House, select things he couldn't possibly know, and watch as he tells you exactly what you're thinking. His jaw dropping finale will give all movie goers a treat and shall leave your jaw on the floor.

Dick Underwood & Del Strain & Ashley Frieze

Dick Underwood & Del Strain & Ashley Frieze

An hour of comedy from these three misfits of the comedy circuit. They have toured the seedy function rooms of far too many pubs around the country and are ready to let loose their own particular brand of wit in a room with proper seats.

Fordham & Lipson: He Barks She Bites

Fordham & Lipson: He Barks She Bites

Fordham & Lipson: He Barks She Bites

Skilled TV, radio and live comedy performers Philippa Fordham (This Is Dom Joly, People Like Us) and Simon Lipson (Dead Ringers, The Stand-Up Show)  play an array of diverse and extraordinary characters in a panoply of sharp and startling sketches. Nothing is as it seems. Journey into their off-kilter comedy universe.
He Barks She Bites is not like any other sketch show. For a start, they are that rarity on today’s sketch comedy scene – a male/female partnership. Fordham & Lipson are highly polished comedy actors with a phalanx of TV and radio credits. While the show does not specifically seek to make points about gender relations or politics, the sketches inevitably explore the chemistry, or lack of it, between men and women.
Meet an inadequate couple on a blind date whose tortured conversation finally blooms into something musically dramatic, before sinking back into painful mundanity.  Witness two bored pilots amuse themselves by playing games with their unwitting and terrified passengers. Observe what happens to a frightened patient whose doctor is more interested in his skills as an impressionist than his cancer diagnosis.
Fordham and Lipson play an eclectic mix of characters who find themselves in a variety of familiar and not so familiar situations.  They utilise music and song throughout, and throw in a handful of impressions, some startling physical comedy and a bit of playful nonsense.

Robert Broderick

Robert Broderick

Rob has been gigging constantly in London since moving here October '04. This year he was the only Irish act to reach the So You Think You're Funny Final in Edinburgh sponsored by C5 TV(this placed him amongst the top 9 out of near 500 entrants, including over 50 from Ireland).

He also compered a four-person show every night At the Edinburgh Festival 2004, receiving a four star review from 3 Weeks magazine (he was described as "a hilarious compere"). Three Weeks –' Hilarious… sensational performance, sure to have you chortling away'

Attitude Magazine- 'one of the best new comics to come through in years'

Chortle - 'Impressively adept at bringing characters to life… with out a trace of actressy bad habits'

Fringe Report - 'Her language is gorgeous - stuffed with colourful and imaginative similes. Her perceptions of life's tricky parts are extremely subtle, and she reveals them with contagious excitement. Roisin Conaty's beautiful face may have been constructed with comedy in mind. It's angelic - the better to contrast with what comes out of her mouth. Which is a lot - Roisin Conaty in full flow can deliver an impressive stream of verbal. It's delightful. And it's robust.'

War On Worry

War On Worry

War On Worry

A hugely entertaining show loosely based around the idea that we all worry too much. Stand up comedian Gareth Richards and performance poet and beat-smith William Stopha join forces to fight against this enemy of us all. Gareth's pleasingly surreal and slightly wrong comedy and William's energetic, thought provoking and often funny rhymes will seamlessly meld into an unstoppable torrent of enjoyment. Or failing that Gareth will do some jokes and Will'll do some poems, which will be lovely. So no need to worry.
